Busta Rhymes mentions Hyphy
On a recent promo CD from Koch Records, there is a song by Busta Rhymes andDJ KaySlay called “Go Off” and on it, Busta Rhymes raps, “The pistol that I carry is licensed despite I'm a felon / I engraved my initials on the handle with a knife / And when I pop I make them wild like the Hyphy Movement / Type environment, innappropriate, shouldn't bring your wifey to I”. Man, He shouldn’t have cut off his dreads!
Save the Hyphy Mascot
The most popular Mascot of the Hyphy Movement, Stomper (really the Oakland A’s Mascot, but you know) needs your support. He is currently working under unfair work conditions and needs the fans help to save him. The hyphy movement needs him, so email: stomper@oaklandathletics.com and let them know your thoughts. And if you don’t know who the mascot is, well then watch this, he goes dumb!

E-40 appears on MTV’s VMA’s

The “Tell Me When to Go” Video was the Bay Areas biggest chance to finally get nominated for MTV’s VMA’s this year. Unfortunately that was not a reality for E-40’s video, but he did manage to co-introduce Ludacris’ performance with executive producer, Lil Jon.

The Lil Jon executive produced album, My Ghetto Report Card, by E-40 is now certified Gold. Congrats to E-40 for all of his accomplishments and looking forward to many more in the future. Can E-40 go platinum? Well, it’s up to you! THE FANS!!!
